1. Our Commitment

HG Interiors Ltd, trading as Home Gallery Interiors, is committed to making its website and online shopping services accessible to as many people as possible, including people with disabilities.

We are working to improve the accessibility and usability of our website with reference to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and the applicable requirements of the European Union (Accessibility Requirements of Products and Services) Regulations 2023 (S.I. No. 636/2023).

2. Our Online Service

The Home Gallery Interiors website allows customers to:

• browse and search for furniture and home-interior products;

• view product descriptions, images, prices and availability;

• select products and add them to a shopping cart;

• place orders and make payments online;

• obtain information about delivery, returns, refunds and consumer rights;

• subscribe to marketing communications where they choose to do so; and

• contact us for information or assistance.

Customers navigate the website using the main menu, product categories, search function and links. Products can be selected from product or category pages, added to the shopping cart and purchased through the online checkout.

If a customer experiences difficulty using any part of the website, we can provide reasonable assistance or information through an alternative method where practicable.

3. Compliance Status

This website is currently partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA.

Partially conformant means that some parts of the website may not yet fully meet all applicable accessibility requirements. We are actively reviewing and improving these areas.

This assessment is based on an internal self-assessment using the Wix Accessibility Wizard and manual checks. The website has not yet undergone a full independent accessibility audit.

4. Accessibility Measures

Measures currently used or being implemented include:

• a “Skip to Main Content” link;

• visible keyboard-focus indicators;

• an identified primary language for the website;

• review of the order in which page content is presented to assistive technologies;

• descriptive page titles;

• improvements to heading structures;

• alternative text for informative images;

• review and improvement of text and interface colour contrast;

• keyboard-accessible navigation and controls where supported;

• accessible labels and instructions for forms;

• ongoing review of product, category, cart and checkout pages;

• accessibility checks on desktop and mobile layouts; and

• periodic use of the Wix Accessibility Wizard and manual testing.

An accessibility toolbar may also be available on the website to provide optional display adjustments, such as contrast changes. These tools supplement, but do not replace, the accessibility of the website’s underlying content and functions.

5. Known Accessibility Limitations

Despite our efforts, some parts of the website may not yet be fully accessible. Known or potential limitations include:

• some product and decorative images may not yet have complete or sufficiently descriptive alternative text;

• the heading structure on some product, category, cart, search and information pages may require further improvement;

• some text, links, icons or interface controls may not yet meet the required colour-contrast level;

• certain product-page layouts or Wix components may not provide complete support for all assistive technologies;

• some video or social-media content may not include captions, transcripts or audio descriptions;

• embedded content and components supplied by third parties may have accessibility limitations outside our direct control; and

• some older content may not yet meet the same accessibility standard as newly added content.

We are prioritising issues that affect essential shopping functions, including product information, navigation, the shopping cart, checkout, payment and customer-contact forms.

Our website uses services and components supplied by third parties, which may include Wix, Stripe, Mailchimp, An Post, social-media platforms and other embedded services.

We aim to select and configure these services in a way that supports accessibility. However, some third-party interfaces may be controlled and updated by their respective providers. We will review reported problems and, where reasonably possible, seek an accessible alternative or provide assistance through another channel.
